Michelle A. Hegyi paints by hand on the computer using a tablet and pressure sensitive pen and sometimes also uses the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil. She calls her work digital paintings. These pieces exist only on the computer and in a small limited edition number of prints (each one made and signed by the artist with archival pigment inks on heavyweight 100% cotton archival paper). The digital painting/collages might also incorporate little bits of her photos or scanned in hand drawn/painted lines.
To get a better feel for her technique, please visit her interview below with Valerie Mann for her March 2017 show Wild Forest:

All pieces listed are part of signed, limited editions, usually of 10 prints (occasionally 25 for small prints), and most are created on demand individually by the artist when ordered until all pieces in the edition have been sold. Some pieces are already printed and available. If you are interested in purchasing a print that is not currently available, please allow 2 weeks for printing for unframed works before shipping. Please note that shipping charges are not included in the prices below.
Only some pieces are currently on view in the gallery. Please email the artist from the piece’s product page (double click on an image below, and fill out the email submission form at the bottom of the product page) to find out if the piece is currently on view in the gallery or to make an appointment to see it. You may also use the same form to make shipping or pickup arrangements before purchase.
